TORQ is a therapist-owned practice in Riverton, New Jersey, built around a simple idea: great clinicians deliver great work when the environment supports it. We've spent five years designing that environment. Now we're looking for clinicians who want to work in it.
We're actively hiring a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy to join our clinical team in Riverton, NJ. If you're looking for one-on-one patient care, a full commercial gym under the same roof, adjustable treatment tables, and mentorship from a DPT on Rowan University's PT Advisory Board — we'd love to hear from you.
Also welcoming applications: We accept applications year-round from Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and PT Aides as we continue to grow. If that's you, we'd love to hear from you too — apply through the form below or email info@torqpt.com.
Every physical therapist got into this profession for the same reason: to help people move better and hurt less. TORQ was built around that reason — and around the environment that lets clinicians deliver on it, session after session, year after year.
That's why we invested in the details. One patient at a time, every session. A modern EMR that supports how clinicians work. Adjustable tables. Movement-friendly attire. A full commercial gym under the same roof. Real time with each patient, real hands-on care, and treatment plans calibrated to the person in front of you.
And it's why we invested in the team. A mentorship-rich culture where growth is expected and supported. A path to advanced certifications. A community of clinicians who read the research, share the interesting cases, and genuinely enjoy working alongside each other.
Everything about TORQ — how we schedule, how we document, how we structure sessions, how we support our people — traces back to one commitment: build the environment where great clinicians do their best work, grow the careers they envisioned, and enjoy the lives they lead outside the clinic.
Great care requires more than a great clinician. It requires the tools, the space, and the time to do the work well. Every choice we've made about how TORQ operates is designed to protect your time, your energy, and your body.
Our EMR is fast, intuitive, and designed for how clinicians work — with efficient templates, flowsheet-driven progress notes, and mobile-friendly access. Documentation flows with your work, so you finish your notes on time and go home when your day ends.
TORQ is co-located with Riverton Health & Fitness Center, so you can seamlessly progress patients from early rehab to structured, high-level loading — without ever leaving the building. Barbell rehab, sport-specific progressions, and return-to-play work all happen on real equipment, with real weight.
Adjustable-height treatment tables in every treatment space. Ergonomic workstations. Open floor plans that let you move freely between patients. Small design choices that support your body across a 40-hour week and a 30-year career.
One patient at a time. Full attention. Evidence-based interventions delivered by clinicians with the time to think, adjust, and treat well. That's the model. And it's non-negotiable.
Physical therapy is physical work. Your clothing should support the demands of the job, not fight against them. TORQ's dress code is built around one principle: mobility.
Our clinicians wear clean athleisure — comfortable, flexible clothing designed for the physical realities of PT. You'll be demonstrating exercises, getting down on the floor with patients, moving through gym-based rehab, and using the full commercial gym upstairs. Your clothes should let you do all of that without a second thought.
This is how we see the future of physical therapy going. Clinicians who move comfortably deliver better care, feel better at the end of the day, and stay in the profession longer. A small change with a huge quality-of-life impact across a 30-year career.
TORQ provides branded uniform shirts for every clinician. Bring the athletic pants, shorts, or leggings that fit your body and your day — we'll handle the rest.
Look sharp. Feel good. Move freely.
TORQ is a growing practice — expanding our team, deepening our specialties, and strengthening our roots in Burlington County. That growth is only possible because we invest in the clinicians who make it happen.
For new graduates: you'll be mentored by a Doctor of Physical Therapy who serves on Rowan University's PT advisory board and has personally trained multiple members of our current clinical team from student to licensed clinician. You'll walk in with support built into your first day.
For experienced clinicians: you'll join a peer group that reads the research, shares the interesting cases, and pushes each other to keep learning. Your existing skills will be respected. Your existing questions will be welcomed. And your existing curiosity will have room to grow.
Dry needling. Sports performance rehab. Advanced manual therapy. Vestibular. Whatever direction you want to grow, TORQ invests in the clinicians pursuing that growth.
And beyond the clinic walls, you'll be part of a practice that's genuinely present in the community — sponsoring local events, partnering with area running clubs and schools, and working with local athletes across every level. TORQ isn't just where you'll work. It's a home base in a community you'll come to know.
When you interview at TORQ, we sit down together and walk through compensation openly — how pay is structured, what factors influence it, and how the value you bring to the practice reflects in what you earn. You'll leave the conversation knowing exactly what compensation looks like today, and how it grows over time.
